Fûko Izumo, une jeune fille dotée de la capacité « Unluck », apporte le malheur à quiconque la touche. Un immortel à la capacité « Undead » empêche Fûko de se suicider, convaincu d'avoir enfin trouvé la personne pouvant lui offrir une « vraie mort ». Il enlève Fûko et commence à s'interroger sur les conditions qui déclenchent la malchance, mais des agents de l'Union, l'organisation qui contrôle les phénomènes inexpliqués, se lancent à leur poursuite !
